About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Technical Project Manager (TPM) to own the end-to-end delivery of medium-to-complex SaaS, Data, and GenAI programs.
This is not a traditional coordination role. You are expected to bring hands-on technical depth, robust execution rigor, and strategic ownership to translate business visions into scalable, production-ready systems. You will lead cross-functional engineering teams, run technical discovery workshops, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and serve as the primary client delivery interface for enterprise global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Program Delivery: Own project lifecycles from discovery, architectural alignment, sprint execution, and quality gates to production go-live, rollback planning, and hypercare.
- Customer Discovery & Scope Control: Lead client workshops to clarify ambiguous requirements, create detailed user stories, build execution roadmaps, and manage change requests without scope creep.
- Technical Governance & Architecture Alignment: Participate actively in design discussions, evaluate system trade-offs (scalability, reliability, performance), and guide delivery across backend, frontend, mobile, and data engineering teams.
- Delivery Governance & Agile Metrics: Establish sprint predictability, capacity plans, Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), and monitor defect trends, release quality, and velocity.
- Global Stakeholder Management: Act as the direct delivery interface for US/EU enterprise clients, managing expectations, risk mitigation, commercial alignment, and executive status reporting.
- Engineering Excellence & AI Adoption: Drive shift-left testing, CI/CD automation, cloud observability (logging, tracing, monitoring), and leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery productivity.
- Team Leadership & Pre-Sales Support: Build and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering pods, optimize resource utilization, and contribute to technical solutioning and RFP responses.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience: 8–12 years of total IT experience, with at least 4+ years leading cross-functional software delivery in a mid-sized IT service delivery organization.
- Technical Depth & System Design: Strong architectural understanding of microservices, backend systems, REST API integrations (Payment Gateways, IdP, CRM, ERP, POS), and cloud deployments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Agile & Delivery Rigor: Deep mastery of Scrum/Agile practices, release management, production rollouts, and customer acceptance criteria.
- Certifications: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or CSM (Certified ScrumMaster).
- International Customer-Facing Experience: Demonstrated success managing direct delivery relationships with global clients across North America (US) or Europe (EU).
- AI Productivity Tools: Practical experience integrating modern AI developer/productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) into delivery workflows.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills across engineering teams, executive leadership, and enterprise clients.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior software engineering background earlier in career (Web/Mobile Developer or QA Lead transitioned into TPM).
- Exposure to Node.js backend environments, enterprise languages (Java, Python, Go), and modern GenAI concepts (LLMs, RAG, Copilots).
- Domain knowledge in eCommerce, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Conversational AI, or Energy & Utilities.
- Strong business analysis and technical documentation capability (authoring SRS, RFP responses, and technical proposals).
